ABOUT ME
Nice to meet you, I’m Warlick.
I was raised in the rural expanses of North Texas where I subsisted on Totino’s Frozen Pizzas, Nick at Night reruns, and 90’s Marvel Comics. I’ve been painting and drawing since before I can remember, and after a brief stint as an Art Director in the web and advertising worlds, I decided to follow my passion and become a freelance artist.
While versatility is one of my strong suits, my true passion is for the aesthetic fusion of comic book dynamism, pop-art psychedelia, and gothic-inspired UFO occultism that combines into the style I have yet to find an appropriate name for.
I've created work for Red 5 Comics, Image Comics, Samsung, Berkeley SETI, The Marvel Masterpiece Trading Card Series, Topps’ Star Wars sketch card series, Concentra, Petsmart, countless local Texas-based businesses, and more.
I create full-time from my home studio in Dallas with my partner Mage and our menagerie of 4 cats, 2 dogs, and a handful of fish. When I’m not at the drawing board you can find me exploring the nature of consciousness and generally contemplating the vastness and awe of the universe.
I saw a UFO once, but that’s a story to be told in person.
To watch the creation process live, follow my Youtube or Twitch channels.
I’m a mixed-media artist who mostly creates illustrations.
I have a merch shop of my original designs.
I live in North Texas with my partner and many, many familiars.
